Very dense and fruity wine which gives it a great aromatic complexity and a nice length in mouth, the tannins are powerful but silky. Its aromas vanilla slowly evolve towards more complex aromas of candied fruit, toasted and roasted, enhanced with a dash of clove, a sign of a great ripeness of the grapes and a promising wine to keep, with a deep purple colour. Powerful, it will match perfectly with prepared meats (wild boar stew, deer cobblestone, roe deer), cheeses. Or simply after a good day, in front of the fireplace by the fire.
